Hi there! My name is Sean Colaljo. I'm an undergraduate at UC Berkeley and the person behind this project!

My parents are both from Larena. My father is from Cang-bagsa, and my mother is from Helen. As for myself, I was born in Illinois, but we currently live in Northern California.

I've always been interested in history, even from a young age. But when I wanted to learn more about Siquijor's history in particular, I couldn't find anything online.

That was around December 2023. Since then, I've been doing in-depth research and developing this website so that anyone else who's curious about our heritage doesn't have to struggle in the same way I have, especially anyone like me who's abroad.
